Junior Wallstreeters' Financial Literacy Summer Camp will teach your scholar the following:
"To be honest most school subjects don't really interest my son. So it's been difficult trying to help prepare/guide him in terms of a career path but I think this might be the avenue. A light bulb has definitely gone off in his head. So I truly thank you for this camp!"
Kenny - Parent
"In the program I learned the basics of investing in the stock market, savings, and exchange traded-funds (ETFβs). As a young adult, this information is extremely valuable to me, as I will soon embark on my college and professional career."
Nayla -Student
WHAT'S THE DEAL?

Black Wallstreeter Consultation Services (BWCS) was started by the father and son team, Kevon and Kamari Chisolm in 2018. A native of Newark, New Jersey, Kevon is a 1997 graduate of Seton Hall University Law School. He also earned a Masterβs Degree with Honors in African American Studies at Yale University in 1994. He was awarded a Baccalaureate Degree in Economics from Drew University in 1991. Kevonβs passion is uplifting and forwarding the African American community through knowledge of self and wealth building.
BWCS's primarly goal is to decrease the wealth gap between African Americans and whites. It focuses on helping others build wealth by starting investment clubs. Kevonβs book, which is titled: Financial Legacy: Building Wealth Through Investment Clubs has sold over 500 copies. The book is available in print and electronic format.
Due to the need and his desire to provide more students with camp scholarships, in August 2020, Kevon started a non-profit, Junior Wallstreeters, Inc. Like the companyβs name, it offers a financial literacy and investing curriculum titled: Junior Wallstreeters: Empowering Youth with Financial Wellness. The curriculum teaches life-long financial awareness and discipline through 14 lessons with an emphasis on African American history and culture. In addition to topics like banking basics, budgeting and investing, our curriculum goes beyond others by exploring the community building wealth possible through investment clubs.
Junior Wallstreeters, Inc. have provided financial literacy services to several national youth organizations including Jack and Jill, Upward Bound and 100 Black Men of Virginia.
